Our Mission
To improve the lives of impoverished and homeless elders around the world through food and housing support, regardless of the elder’s race, religion, gender, sexual identity, or sexual preference. We act on our belief that elders should be respected and their history be cherished.
What We Do
We give homeless and abandoned elders a new family, a safe place to live, and unconditional love.
We give families struggling to feed themselves and their elderly parents the tools they need to reduce food insecurity through our sustainable food program.
We are actively engaged in manifesting a better future for our global elders.

What We Do Matters
According to the UN, by 2050:
-
the world’s population of people aged 60 years and older will rise to 2.1 billion;
-
80% of older persons will be living in low- and middle-income countries;
-
the number of persons aged 80 years or older will reach 426 million; and
-
global life expectancy beyond 65 will increase by 19 years.
Across the globe, families and governments are struggling under the weight of caring for their elders. In many countries, elders are being abandoned by their children as these children become overwhelmed both financially and mentally.
This is where we come in.
Why We’re Different
We refuse to engage in mission creep: All our programs are centered around food and housing support for our elders and for the families who care for them.
We work in less-popular geographic areas: While plenty of organizations are doing laudable work in other countries, we choose the roads less taken.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every elder has food and a home. We believe that no one should have to live out their last years hungry and cold, and in unsafe circumstances.
Our BHAG
(Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal)
Elder Rescue Program:
Identify a geographic location which is recovering from either man-made or natural disaster and, working with local organizations, locate a disused building that could be safely converted into an elder care home, or construct a new home.
Continuing our work with local organizations, go out into the streets to identify homeless and abandoned elders who would be appropriate as residents of an elder care home, and relocate those elders to safety.
Once established, set up a sustainable food program, providing resources that are practical for the area. This may include both the chicken coop aspect of our program as well as the organic gardening component, or just one.
We know this program will be needed as our global society progresses these next ten years, and we are prepared for the challenges as they arise.
